"Investing in real estate allows you to protect yourself and your wealth. While the real estate market has gone up and down, it has never declined over time. Compare that to when Wall Street collapsed or currencies that aren’t backed by anything tangible"

The quote you originally posted is misleading at best.
From the article "Billionaire Andrew Carnegie famously said that 90% of millionaires got their wealth by investing in real estate." Nothing against Andrew Carnegie, but he died in 1919 and some things have changed since then so one would expect the author to do some updating and fact checking. Maybe use some census and tax return data.
NOPE. They poll nine people, the majority of whom made their money in RE to affirm the quote. Some call that an insufficient sample size. How did they pick those nine successful people? Oh they just happen to be "Advisors" for this mastermind group called "The Oracles".
I don't know what, if any, your connection to "The Oracles" is or if you are simply trying to drum up business for your brokerage, but trying to pass off a promotional marketing article as investing advice isn't a good look.
