I recently went to a meeting with the Austin REI club at the Domain expecting a discussion on Austin market trends but it turned out to be a guru pitch. I'm wondering if anyone recommends any good groups in the Austin area for networking and learning?

I'd recommend the Investor Underground meetups held monthly at Abel's North which is at 4001 W Parmer Ln. It's held by 2 investors in town and they cover some sort of investment related scenario each time. I've met quite a few folks there who I now do business with.
