Hey y'all,

I'm brand new to real estate investing but looking to buy my first rental property in the next quarter. I have been in medical sales for the last 7 years but would love to make real estate a full time career ASAP. I'd take any direction, guidance, mentorship, information, etc. at this point.

I'd also be willing to trade time and assistance for knowledge! Thanks for your time.

Hey, Nicolas! Welcome to Bigger Pockets and Real Estate Investing. I am also new to the wonderful world of real estate investing.  I have been to a couple networking groups in the area. One is meeting this evening in Colleyville, DFW REI Network Investing Meetup. It is a BP group although they can't officially say that. Another group I like is DFW Investors. There are many, many more to be found on meetup in the DFW area.

Be sure to read and study about real estate and learn as much as you can. That is how I spend the majority of my time right now. Listen to the podcasts. They have a wealth of information. Have you read the Ultimate Beginner's Guide? Everyone has shared that it is important to develop a good foundation before jumping in.

Good luck!
