New to investing and to Houston!
Hi folks! I'm completely new to real estate investing and to Houston and looking for tips and networking!! Myself and my two partners currently live in Atlanta, GA in a townhome, but will likely be moving to Houston for my partner's job. He is an attorney who works in Upper Kirby. We are interested in a house hacking strategy, either with a single-family home with a basement apartment, or a multi-family property. We own our townhome so not 100% new to financing or purchasing property, but definitely new to investment properties.
I would love to connect with some folks in Houston to learn some more tips and more about the local market. :-) I would especially love to hear from duplex/triplex owners about their experiences!!

Welcome! I live in Houston and am always down to meet and talk real estate. Currently buying a brand new 5 bedroom home I'm going to house hack / rent by the room that will cash flow very well. I plan to house hack every year for the foreseeable future and save money for pure rentals on the side.
