Houston Texas Skilled Trade Recommendations
Hi everyone,
Any recommendations on skilled trades that you have utilized in the past in the Houston area? (specifically looking for inner 610 loop, Clear Lake/Friendswood/(SE 45 Corridor) and Galveston areas).
- Plumber
- Electrician
- Termite Inspector
- Surveyor
- Insurance (for investment properties)
Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Honestly thats a rough ask- Trades are hard to find and easy to upset. i.e. when I refer someone to one of my trades I am usually more concerned that the trade will be taken care of and done right than the client using them.
I have found that most management companies, investors, flippers, etc, have a hard time keeping trades for more than a few gigs for a bunch of reasons. Not the least of which is everyone (trades and whoever hires them) is constantly worried about the other taking advantage.
I would call some supply shops in the area for the plumbers/electrician referees; even ACE hardware has a pegboard w/ business cards on it and a pro desk which should know who is who in the area.
