Hello From Chattanooga!
Hi All!
Joey Wilson here.I was just introduced to BP through a friend and I am looking forward to engaging with the investors group here.
I just wanted to give everyone a quick intro about myself and both learn more about investing strategies myself.
So I've been into RE Investing for the last 10 years of so, living in several properties with my family as I've been flipping them for profit. At the same time I worked full time as a local chef. In 2017, we were able to get into a property with a MIL suite that we rehabbed and have transformed into our dream home, and also remodeled an unfinished cottage on site as well into short term vacation rental and then long term rental property after Covid in 2020.
In 2019, I got tired of the chef life and trying to raise a family at the same time, so I got my TN Real Estate license and joined Keller Williams, which is the largest brokerage in the area. In 2020, I also got my North GA and Alabama licenses to expand my service areas.
Now in 2021, my goal is to start getting back into RE Investing myself, with potentially purchasing my first Multi-Fam Unit as well as help other investors in the area with their own Investments. I have a great group of allied partners here in the area including several local loan officers as well as contractors, electricians, plumbers, appraisers, home inspectors, etc that I would be happy to connect any investors here in the area with.
I just finished "How To Invest in RE" by Brandon and Josh as well as "BRRRR" by David Greene and I am wanting to connect specifically with BRRRR investors in the area to learn more about the process and see more about what I can learn.
I look forward to learning a ton from this group!
Thanks!
Joey Wilson
