I currently have a rental property near the Clarksville area and am considering transferring title over to an LLC. The property is currently financed with a VA loan and want to know the pros and cons of this strategy according to TN law. I cant be the first person who was done this.

Many investors do a quit claim transfer to an LLC. Shouldnt be an issue but also know that if the lender ever found out they could call the note due.

IF your wanting to transfer just for liability protection, you could just get an umbrella policy to have more insurance, this would be much cheaper then forming an LLC and then paying yearly LLC renewal fees along with LLC tax returns.

Good luck
