Investing in Pittsburgh

Hi BP Members,

I'm looking into Pittsburgh to start building a portfolio of rental properties.

I see that the city is very spread out and built of lots of neighborhoods.

I was wondering where you guys are investing at the moment?

In addition, which neighborhoods are considered the "working class" and "middle class" income neighborhoods (B and C Class)?

Thanks.

I think the trulia crime map is a good resource for determining rental prospects in Pittsburgh.  The housing stock and quality can vary greatly from one street to another and even in some "bad" neighborhoods, there are good areas.  One example would be the parts of Wilkinsburg near Regent Square and Edgewood.
