Looking to buy a Multi-family in the OKC area to House Hack

I am currently looking to buy my first home and I would like to purchase a small multifamily to house hack. What areas around OKC should I look for? What are good investing areas around the OKC area?

Hey @Ivan Melendez

Most of the multifamily properties are going to be located in OKC proper or Norman. Typically I see most of the multifamily homes that come up are in the urban core of OKC or west side of the metro near Bethany/Warr Acres. Occasionally we see stuff pop up in the 'burbs, but it's less common.

What I would recommend is keeping your options wide open. Have your Realtor set you up on an instant alert search for the entire metro. There aren't many small multifamily homes that hit the market and most of the ones that do are probably not going to work for house hacking. Keep your options open, get pre-approved and be ready to act fast when you find something that makes sense.

Good luck!
