Searching for Private Lender/Alternative Lending Solution
Hello!
I have a duplex in Cleveland, OH under contract but just had my loan fall through. The reason is due to my rent situation here in SF; I am the master tenant on my lease so my roommates pay me rent each month. This makes it look like I am paying the full rent and therefore throws off my debt-to-income ratio. I can provide contracts and proof of payment for the past 12 months but the underwriters are still unwilling to make an exception.
Does anyone have any recommendations or ideas for finding an alternative means of lending?
