Columbus City Tax Question
Hello,
I live out of state, but bought a couple of properties in Columbus, OH last year. Do I need to file Columbus City Tax for IR-25? For last year, I have a rental income loss.
It seems they want to charge tax on my entire W2 income which is earned in California. I am not sure why they would do that. That would imply I will be double-taxed once in my state and once in OH. Any advise on how to navigate this?
Thanks,

a lot of localities within Ohio have a locality tax filing obligation for rental incomes.
You likely have an obligation with the city of columbus to report your rental activity.
