Reno Rehab Materials (Windows!)

Hello,

I'm fixing up a duplex property I recently acquired, and the big decision right now is what windows to put it. It has old single-panes, and I have received two wildly different quotes on windows. Both included installation and had a magnitude of difference in cost- about $4,000 to be exact!

One of the quotes was for "Brothers" windows and the other was using "Milgard" windows. For any of the folks experienced in flipping, "redeveloping" (@Michael S. Helton :), or rehabbing rentals they've purchased, what's your opinion on window quality and specific brands? By all accounts the Brothers windows do seem better; I'm just not convinced they're $4,000 better...

Thanks,

Wes
