Possible Las Vegas Multi-family Investing in 2017

Hello everyone!

I am currently looking at the possibility of moving back to Las Vegas early next year and buying my first multifamily property and possibly house hacking. i use to lived in Vegas from 2011 to 2014 before moving to MD and im pretty familiar with the area. This would be my first property (first time home buyer) and I have been researching for a while now. I know that the NE Vegas has a ton of Multi-family properties but they aren't in the best neighborhood, especially when trying to house hack. I saw on here where a lot of people recommended getting the higher value properties but there's not a lot out there. I would love to hear from the local multifamily investors on what worked.  Feedback and advise is always welcomed!

Thanks in advance!

Denham
