Hello All,

I have been dreaming about this for many years. Read dozens of books, attended seminars, and surfed the forums and discussions. Prior to the crash in 2006-2008 I was a carpenter in residential new construction. Since then I have been working as a therapist in mental health and looking to get back into building and renovating. I'm thinking fix and flip and am targeting the northern suburbs of the Twin Cities, MN. Looking for encouragement to overcome the fear of starting out.. Thanks!

The northern suburbs are a good place to invest, there is still a lot of competition but not as many eyes on it as you will find with Minneapolis or St. Paul.  Mentioning these two cities on here probably pegged 5,000 keyword searches alone on here :)

Not sure what you have for cash but sounds like you are in a good position to dust off your skills and get going with some sweat equity.
