What is best way to find notes at courthouse
I used to be able to search trustee and trustor records online in my county courthouse in California but now you have to have information about each record you want to find. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to search these records online? Its really a pain to have to go to the courthouse and search. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you referring to the looking at copies of the actual docs when at the recorder's office? Perhaps the procedure for that has changed? Even so, you can still research the grantor/grantee index online (at home) and then pull up the specific documents that you need at the recorder's office.
