Free Tax Lien Information -- Discussion Post
Hello everyone,
I have recently been delving into the world of Tax Liens. I have assembled a general guide for my top states for tax liens. If you have any questions or would like to start a discussion just comment below. Also if you find any information missing in this guide or believe anything is wrong don't hesitate to shoot me a message. I will be updating this excel sheet if/when I find new information.
Thank you for your time,
Ot Gabaldon Torrents.

I buy Tax Liens in SC. I saw an article that SC was the 5th best state to to do this.
1 year redemption
12% interest (3,6,9,12 depending which quarter the redemption is made.)
When redemption period is over and property is not redeemed, county mails you the deed. No foreclosure or other crazy requirements on your part required.
Lien goes to highest bidder with no interest rate bid down.
Bidding in person so no competition from people who can't physically be at the auction.
I typically get 1 to 5 new houses/properties every year that do not get redeemed from the previous years auction.
I do not need to do an expensive Quiet Title to rent my new properties.
I get a check in the mail plus interest or I get a Deed in the mail. It is that simple in SC.
