How can I research if there is a federal tax lien on a property?

Concerned that a county tax Lien I am attempting to purchase may be encumbered by a Federal/IRS lien. Is there a database in which I can search for federal liens on my property? thks.

Federal tax liens are on the individual, not the property, although they can attach to the individuals property. They would be recorded in the county the property in located in under the owners name. So in a property owned by an entity, you would need to determine persons in real ownership. Of course getting title insurance eliminates all this work and worry,
