Acquired Vacant Land through Tax Lien
Hi BP world, long time reader, first time poster -
I'm a tax lien investor and we've ended up with a parcel of vacant land in commerce city, colorado. The parcel is small and somewhat odd shaped, but near a highway and zoned industrial (though it previously had a small home on it).
I'm not quite sure what to do with it, and it just going to collect fines if I do nothing. Anybody have any experience with this kind of situation and/or ideas on what I can do with it or how I could best liquidate it?
Thanks for the help!

One strategy is to market it to the property neighbors. You should be able to go to the county website and determine who are the neighbors to this property. I'm not so sure I wouldn't also try to use craigslist to get rid of it. If those two strategies don't work, try and ebay it. Have an auction for the down payment and then finance it back to the auction winner on a land contract. So if they default, you still own the land. Best of luck
