Tax liens....land or residential property?

I'm looking at the legals for upcoming tax lien auctions and I'm trying determine which are just lots or land and which actually have residential houses on the property. Also, is there any website or source where all of the legals for various counties can be found in one place? Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Ultimately don't bid on ANYTHING you haven't driven by and seen.

You can look at properties online that had houses, but are vacant lots or boarded up junk houses.

You should be able to look at spreadsheet provided by county and see what value of building is. If it is zero the county thinks it is just land. You can use Google street view to see what property and neighborhood looked like at time the pictures was taken. This could be years old.

Each county has their own resource page that has details about each property in their county. Each county has their own auction.
