Note discounting and buying notes

I am looking for advise and info on investing in notes. I just read about such an idea and I'm curious. I'd like to talk with someone in Bend Oregon or Portland Oregon about this topic. I'd like to work with someone who does this for a living and then start my own business buying notes. I'll make time to come meet with you. Thank you for any replies. Jeff

I have one up here in Seattle at https://www.meetup.com/Seattle-Note-Investing/, feel free to join our group, I do a monthly webinar for the non-locals and we meet once a month in Seattle if you ever come up this way.

Also, attend the local REIA meetings, there are bound to be some note investors in the group.
