Hello BP Community,

If I were to invest in mortgage notes should I do it as an individual and I would hold the note, or through a corporate entity (like an LLC) and have that entity purchase and hold the note ?

Thank you in advance,

Adam

@Adam Cohen Know what you are getting into. If you are purchasing Non-performing assets, you will have to represent yourself or your LLC in any court in the country. Would you put your hard earned assets on the line?

LLC or IRA account is something that i would look into. Talk to your CPA and attorney to structure the deal in a way that works for your scenario.
