Note Broker/Investor in the Detroit Area?

Hello,

I have some family members looking into note investing in the northern Detroit metro area (Madison heights).  Are there any note brokers or investors in the area that I can introduce them to?  I think they would be more successful with a one-on-one Q&A session to learn the ropes instead of delving into a website or calling an 800 number. 

Any help would be outstanding, thank you all for your time.
