Single Family Rentals
Is there a market in the Boston area for single family rentals? I'm curious why someone would rent a single family in lieu of buying one?

There is definitely a market for SF rentals. I do a lot of marketing to find first time buyers, but come up with a lot of people who have either an insufficient credit history or bad credit.
Boston also has a fair number of short-term residents - students, medical residents, etc. For those planning to move in less that a few years, it makes more sense to rent.
