SFH zoned for Church use, any concerns converting it back?

I posted about this property in the past, looking more and more like it may be a deal. There's an off market SFH currently owned by a church. It's in a residential neighborhood and at one time was somebody's residence. It's zoned for church use/property tax exemptions. My intention is to flip it.

My question is, anyone have insight as to the process with getting this zoned back to residential use? Is there a chance I won't be permitted to do this and will be stuck in some kind of limbo with a church exempt property? I can't imagine that being the case considering I'm not a church.

I intend to call the local zoning office tomorrow but getting a live person on the phone in the government is tough these days.
