General Contractor/ Handyman: Kansas City, MO

Hello Everyone! Hope you all are safe and well!

I'm looking to still make purchases in the Kansas City area, by the end of the year. As part of working on building my team in the area as an Out Of State Investor, I am in need of contractors and skilled handymen that work with investor & are able to provide weekly updates during the rehab to me. Also if anyone has any tips on managing contractors when you are out of state would be helpful.

Thanks, Be Safe!

@Tonye Jack have you considered doing turn key?  As a new out of state investor, trying to do it yourself remotely is risky and there is no guarantee that you will have equity built in. Turn key companies have advantages that individuals don't have.

1. They are buying at better prices further upstream. They do not buy on the MLS
2. Better material costs through economies of scale. They can get HVAC systems and roofing for about 1/2 of what an individual can.
3. Better control over labor. A busy turn key company keeps the same crews 100% employed.
