60 MPH vs 110 MPH shingles in Michigan

Debating roofing material to use in Michigan. It's for a rental property so even though I prefer the look of dimensional shingles, I'm OK with 3 tab if it saves me money. The other difference I am seeing between the shingles is the wind resistance rating.

Is it a mistake to go with less expensive 3 tab shingles?

You're not saving much money with 3 tab vs dimensional.
