Central AC ductwork in low pitch roof (no crawlspace/basement)

Hello, I'm trying to price out a potential property that does not have central AC. There is no crawlspace or basement. It does have a pitched roof, but I didn't look up in there during the walk through unfortunately.

If I had to guess, roof looks like its about 30 degree angle and I would guess about 4 feet of clearance (5 tops) in the tallest part of the attic space. Is that sufficient for a central AC system? Anyone have any experience installing central AC into a similar circumstance I'd love to hear about your experience.

I've considered zonal, but it would also have to be tucked away in the ceiling, as this will be an AirBnB and the rest of the house has a historic vibe, so a big modern zonal unit on the wall is a no go.

I haven't used them much, but in general I prefer the central AC experience to zonal and some people say the zonal units also don't cool as well when it gets very hot outside? (like it is right now!) Has that felt true by anyones experience?

Its sounds like you have a 3:12 PITCH on your roof.  It should work!

The venting may be more in the center of your house instead of above the windows.  But those AC/Furnace guys are used to doing it this way.

Good luck
