Hi Adam, with the market so hot and new construction ramping up in a big way, it can be hard to get contractors in Bakersfield and other areas of the Kern County. It is can even be hard to get some to return your phone calls just to tell you they are too busy to do the job. That said there are a few ways to find a few a good contractor.  1 - hit up Home Depot at 6.30am.  2 - if you see job sites, stop and talk with the contractors working on the home.  3 - ask anyone you know.  If you find a good contractor they will likely know good ones from the other trades.
