Kitchen organization limitations
Hi, I'm redoing the kitchen in a unit, and I have some concerns with placing the electric stove and sink.
As you can see from the picture, it's a very small kitchen area (might even call it a pantry, the fridge is left outside that pantry).
My questions:
1. Can I place the electric stove next to the back wall(all the way to the left)? I was concerned about the heat from the stove might damage the wall.
2. Can I place the electric stove next to the sink? I was concerned about the splashing sink water might do some damage to the stove? Or could cause a fire?
I wish to squeeze them as much as I can in order to have a large continuous countertop space as much as possible (on the right).
Is there any code around these kind of decisions?
Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks.

@Roee Agami, I cannot speak to code requirements. Range against wall has never been an issue from a damage perspective. I would not recommend it from a functional kitchen perspective. Assume the 10' fits, or even a 12, I prefer having counter on both sides of range (even though we all know we only use the front right burner :) )
I would try to push the sink as far to the right as possible, and if reasonable go to a slightly larger sink. I get this is a small kitchen, but because of that, you won't have a dishwasher and it is going to be very hard to do dishes in a an 18" or smaller sink. Even if you can go to a 24" sink base, that will feel much bigger.
Where is the refrigerator? Is there any counter space available near it?
