For higher rents- studio vs one bedroom?

I have a studio (one half of a duplex) that I’m doing a full rehab on. It is approx 450sq ft. I need to decide if I should keep it a studio or make a wall to divide the bedroom, essentially making it a one bedroom. I originally decided to make the bedroom because I thought I could ask more for rent. Is this the case usually? Would I be making the space seem too cramped by walling off part of it and thereby making it less attractive to renters? I also thought about a compromise by making a partial wall with an opening instead of a door to preserve the feeling of openness...but bottom line is I want to get highest rent possible for least amount of cost going in.

I ultimately decided that it is not big enough but I created a layout with a half wall that hides the bedroom area so makes it a little more private while keeping the openness of a studio. Thanks for your input
