Would you trade most of your flipping profits for a salary

I had someone approach me and ask a relatively simple question, do you know any fix and flip investors who would work for a salary and bonus instead of being a fix and flip investor on their own? So I wanted to pose that to you. Would your trade the inconsistent paydays for a salary with a bonus? Why or why not?

@Jonathan Mueller yes and no.  In many ways I did give up being a flipper for a more stable job.  But it is a job I absolutely love and more in line with what I like doing.  My wife and I are casual flippers (about 2 per year), so I didn't really give that up.

But as others mentioned, am I a successful flipper or am I making $50k/yr working my tail off?  Am I going back to a grind or something I love?

The downsides of flipping full time for me were man-sitting contractors that even the better ones were on their own timeline.  The stress of "needing a deal" so taking on projects that were more marginal than great just to make some money. The battle of working with my wife, who is a very talented designer, and demanding in her desires, but not always understanding the challenges of construction and rehabs and uneven walls, or measurements that are not quite right, or how it is next to impossible to put something where she wants it.
