Converting a dryer from propane to nat gas?
I bought a stacked Maytag washer/dryer for $150. The dryer runs on propane. The house it's in has natural gas. I bought a conversion kit. I put in the natural gas orifice, then I went to do things with the gas valve. One of the selenoids was unplugged. I suspect the dryer was originally for natural gas, when I disassembled it to put in the orifice I saw handwriting in 3 areas that said "LP Gas". Why is one of the selenoids unplugged? I suspect that when it was converted from nat gas to propane the technician unplugged it because propane has a bit higher pressure than nat gas.
