Removing the Smell of dead body

So found a great investment house 34k purchase appraisal 115k. Problem is the home was owned by a hoarder who passed away in the home. Person was also not found for 12 days so body decayed inside the home. To add to that while the house was being cleared out they found 12 dead animals. So I was wondering if anyone has dealt with this or knows how much $$$$ it would take to get rid of this smell.

Replied

When I saw your post, I wasn't sure if I accidentally stumbled onto the serial killer forums lol. Your post title will certainly capture some peoples attention.

We did one rehab where there were a lot of animals living in a small space.  We ripped out all carpets, hired a kennel cleaner to scrub and disinfect the tile floors, scrubbed the walls and ceilings with bleach and water and painted everything with Kilz.  That did a pretty good job of getting rid of the smell. Good luck with your rehab!
