Evict tenant do I owe utilites?
I have recently evicted a tenant. I do't believe they paid their electric or water. I plan to transfer them to my name. But, per lease tenants are responsible for utilities. Will the water/electric company make me pay the tenants bill.
I have to evict them because they did not pay their rent. I'd rather not pay their bills... First time investor (noob), havent had someone moved out before.
