I have a old home on a plot of land that I am looking to demo and or clear. This is at a auto shop that I own, my plan is to clean the shop up and rent out the shot. This autoshop belongs to my family.

I am trying to keep the project as cheap as possible, looking for good trustworthy and cost-effective crew. If possible, can I get some recommendations to start getting quotes.

Any tips or advice, first time doing something of this scale.

So my dad plans to retire, I want to find a way to make him passive income. I am thinking about renting out the autoshop which is about 0.5 acre. We have some land behind the shop which is about 1.5 acres which contains cars and part. What can I do to maximize profit, without selling the land?

I just recently bought the simplisafe system with active monitoring. I have placed signs in front of my vacant rental. I have a door sensor and motion along with extra decibel.

I bought the SS system after my vacant unit broken into and someone stole the appliances.

My question to the BP family is has anyone had success with the SS system. Doe the SS sign deter break in? Was the system worth it?

Hello,

I am looking at buying a simplisafe system. I have a Vacant unit that has been broken into twice now over a course of 2 months. And I am fed up with it.

I want to install a security system. Of course, the unit does not have wifi.

What item should I buy? There are two doors to the unit, the front door and the back door. Would that mean buy two entry sensors?

Does it come with a alarm or do I need to buy the siren?

Worth getting a motion sensor. and how many?

So I am looking at a new insurance provider. And for one of the insurance, I found it is $1500 premium with a downpayment of $400. Do I need to make the down payment myself? Currently, my insurance is in escrows with me mortgage. Will the insurance payment be now part of my montly payments?

@Account Closed when you say that the title company start work when they are called. Is that the buyer or seller agent calling them?

So the inspection period ended on Sunday. They did purchase an inspection and had 10 days to make repair request. But I have not heard anything from the buyer/buyer agent. My agent called the buyer agent and left a voice mail but we have not heard anything.

I did get a email from the title company today asking for my information so they can process it. I think that is a good sign. Does the title company need to hear from the buyer before they get with the seller? Or do they contact you after inspection contegicy peroid ends.

So I am selling a home and the contingency inspection period ends today. The buyer inspected the home on Tuesday, but I haven't heard anything in from the inspection or if they want any repairs or anything. Is this a concern? Or is this normal? Or should I look for another buyer, we have been under contract for ~ 2 weeks now.

@Dennis M. @Theresa Harris First time owning a rental or a home at all. So this took me by surprise, I know it is lower income area so I should not be.

@Chris Szepessy did the cops respond when you called them? Was there a regular patrol? I have no intention to buy the property next door, it's actually nicer than mine and probably won't be a good deal to buy since it's won't be at a discount price if I buy it. Can I get him arrested?

@Account Closed I'd probably sell a few years down the line. The drug dealer in question is a thug, he doesn't show he heat. But, I'm sure he has weapons of some sort just being it's the drug business. The drug dealer isn't with his parents or anything, it's a grown man that is a thug. If I call the cops will I be a target?
