4 day training real estate (netherlands)? help!

Jim Scholten
Posted

Hi, my name is Jim i am 20 years old and i have the chance to go to a 4 day training about real estate, the man who is speaking there i met 2 times already. I followed his workshop and spoke to him personally. He appears to be the only dutch guy to do seminars amd training about real estate. Here is my doubt: "my family doesnt trust the situation (they did not met the man) and they are all telling me i should not pay for his 4 day training... this could be a live changing training or it could be a disaster. (It costs 2500 eu) what to do?

Hello,

it's what u say that is important. Its not the money. I need some information to get started.. that's all. I am new to the game of real estate and i am seeking mentoring figures to help me get the headstart. I read alot of books about real estate but everytime i try to find something on google about dutch real estate its different, that's why it's hard for me...

Yours thruly,

Jim scholten

I'd suggest going to local meetups. Please check out the groups https://www.meetup.com/nl-NL/Real-Estate-Investing-Meetup-Nederland/ and https://www.meetup.com/nl-NL/Utrecht-Onroerendgoednetwerken-Meetup/. Both are great meetup groups.

After attending some events, and also talking to the people there, you can always take a training, or maybe contact a financial adviser that has knowledge in RE to help you out. Maybe the financial adviser can introduce you to a client that is already doing what you do.

Can you describe the perfect first deal for you? And in which region are you willing to invest? Already saved up for a down payment?
