How long should I wait for a renovation quote?

What is the normal time that it takes for a 1BD unit to be quoted?

I had my house looked at by a professional contractor a week ago. I am only asking for a rent-ready renovation to be done. The emails go ignored, so I have to follow-up. Today marks a week of no quote and more importantly, broken promises.

Am I being antsy or is it time to move on to a different contractor?

He doesn't want your business. He won't show up if you hire him. He will do a sloppy job if he accepts your contract. He will not finish the work and you will be left wondering what's going on.

Work with people who want your business and are professional, and that's not him.
