Inverted yield curve

Hello everyone im looking to refinance my primary residence to lower my payment. Would it be wise to do so with the yield curve being inverted? Will it affect me if recession hits?

    @Christopher Hernandez, I don't see how the yield curve would impact your decision. If anything acting now to lock in a lower rate (and monthly payment) while loans are relatively easy to get hedges against the risk of an upcoming recession.

    What are your specific concerns? What is the affect that you're worried about?
