LVP Brand Recommendation
Hello All!
My wife and I are in the process of closing on a 4 bed/3 bath, 2700 sq ft home with a walk out basement in Greensboro, NC. While we hope to grow into all this space one day, currently our small family of 3 has no use for all of this space.
Luckily we (or should I say "I") have a hankering to get into real estate investing, so we are thinking about using the basement as a short term rental.
I need to put about 1200 sq ft of flooring down and I am thinking that LVP is going to be our best long term solution.
Can anyone provide recommendations for LVP?
I would want to get the best value for our dollar and would want to get a suitable material for this specific use. Furthermore, if anyone could recommend a specific website or store that they would recommend for good savings, that would be great as well!

We recently rehabbed our home and purchased a LVP brand called Naturally Aged Flooring from a local supplier (https://www.naturallyagedfloor...). It was a little more than the Home Depot options but the wear layer is thicker so better durability. It took us eight months to settle on the option we chose so we've definitely been around the block in our search! Lumber Liquidators also has some good options if you have one in your area.
It may be worth it to check with some local suppliers - the one we ended up going with was incredibly knowledgable about his products and was able to work with us on pricing. He actually waived the tariff increases that had occurred right before we purchased because I was pregnant with our first baby.
We were initially looking for a darker wood but after using a dark laminate plank in a flip home we realized how easily darker woods show dirt. So we ended up with a lighter option and I'm so glad we did! Really happy with how it turned out - it looks natural and there aren't huge color variations like a lot of current options.
Good luck in your search!
