Buying My Mom’s House

Hello everyone. I live in New Jersey. I’m living with my mom in the meantime until I find myself my own place. I had an idea, I was thinking to buy my moms house and rehabbing it. She still paying $231,280.77 with a 4.75 interest rate.

This would be my first house as an investor and I don’t know who I should talk to. I already know how much I can afford. Should I get a loan enough to buy the house and fix it up? Do you think this would be a good idea as a newbie in investing.

@Latasha Parker

I would not recommend it. Do you have siblings , what do they think if you trying to turn a profit off your moms home? When you are starting out, the last think you need is drama
