New Roof On Detached Garage

I'm putting a new roof on a house for about $7000 in Minnesota. I'm wondering if I should put a new roof on the detached two car garage as well. The cost for adding the garage roof brings the total to $9800.  I'm wondering what people think about the value added by having a new roof on the garage. It seems pretty spendy for it to cost $3000 more just to have a new roof on the garage too.

@Asher Knudson that sounds awfully high for a garage roof. Is this a flat roof or a peaked roof. A good honest roofer can give you an idea of how much life is left in the garage roof.

One factor is the location of the garage relative to the house. Will a different looking roof be a distraction or will it go unnoticed.
