Hey everyone!

I have a cousin in California who wants me to do all the ground work, finding, rehabbing and managing rental properties for them here in Indiana.

I do not have my real estate license but am i working on it. What can we do so I can legally manage the properties without me having my license for now?

@Ty M Kuntz You'll have to check your own state laws to be sure, but here in MA, there are three exceptions that allow property managers to operate without a real estate license.

1. The property owner

2. Salaried employee of the property owner

3. Hotel reservation personnel

If that's true in IN, you can be a salaried employee and operate legally.
