Driving for $$$ in Chicagoland.
Good morning all,
Fairly new BPs. I’ve been reading a number of post (old and new) and enjoyed the free and humble exchange of information. Very encouraging. Thank you.
I’ve recently embarked on this journey in REI by way of house flipping. As of now it’s the one form that truly suits my personality (I like fixing/building things). Over the past 2.5 months I’ve been looking for properties with realitor (via MLS) and let me say she’s a very knowledgeable and patient person. 🙂 Anyways I haven’t had any luck as the properties I’ve been interested have end up selling well beyond asking price and my pockets aren’t quite deep enough to compete with for some of these properties.
To keep this post from getting any longer, I was wondering if anyone has any success with D4$ here in Chicagoland? I’ve seen quite a few dIstressed homes that are not on the MLS and would like to see what success (if any) people have had acquiring deals by other methods here in Chicago.
