I am curious what is a generic price for having an electrician install a 220 volt plug in the kitchen running from the box in the basement below the kitchen.

It depends on a number of questions, such as what’s code? Does it have to be in pipe? How far is the panel in the basement? Will you be using an existing outlet to replace it? And will it require drilling through the floor to get the pipe/wire to your desired location?
