How to rehab homes with fireplaces
Hello all! I am Kimberly, a newbie with a full time job & Intensely looking for my first house to flip. My husband is a licensed electrician & general can do a lot of other projects type handyman & we will be doing the work between our "day jobs". Since our budget to start this adventure is small, most of the potential homes we are finding are very old & have fireplaces. I have seen several homes that have already been flipped where they boarded up the fireplace area & painted it, etc. What is recommended in the way of rehabbing a fireplace? The market here doesn't seem to appreciate fireplaces anymore as most have Central H & A. Thank you in advance for your expertise!
