Carpet, cabinets, and color oh my
Hi all,
My partner and I are doing our first rehab. I am completely comfortable with the nuts and bolts decisions but no matter how much HGTV I watch coordinating colors is well beyond my abilities.
We are replacing the kitchen cabinets, repainting all walls, and reinstalling carpet. I know the basics-neutral wall colors, lighter color cabinets for smaller kitchen, etc.
My question is how much do we need to coordinate the cabinet color with the counter tops, then the wall color, and the carpet or am I over complicating it? And what color options are best for a retail sale? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Chris

1. Hire an interior design consultation, it will cost you around $200.00. Its worth it before you spends thousands.

2. Go walk through model homes of new construction builds, and see what colors they use. Check inside of the cabinets or in the garage, they will sometimes have paint cans left there and tile used. Write the color names down.
