Have anyone worked with Dutchints Development LLC ? A fiend introduced me this Bay Area real estate investment firm who is raising privet money to fund projects, details here http://www.dutchintsdev.com/investors.html?from=singlemessage&isappinstalled=0 I have been small landlord for quite some time and looking different ways of doing real estate to board my investing profile. My question is how can I start? What should I to do my due diligence to make sure such firm and project are good? What are pit holes I need to avoid? Any advice will be very help. Thanks in advance.

The most important thing is verification. I would say a crowd funding platform for development like patch of land will be a good place to start. Low buy-in is key and spreading your eggs in multiple baskets.
