Investing in Jacksonville Florida

Hello

Looking to connect with some Bigger Pockets members in the Jacksonville Florida area. I maybe moving down there part of the year and would like to start investing in that area.

I currently live in Cleveland Ohio and own and self manage 40 apt units with another investor i also work a 9-5 job now. I am looking to get into real estate full time later on this year. I have cash now to do 1-2 rehabs at a time, i have partnered with other investors on flips before. I am looking to do 5-8 in 2017 and 10-12 rehabs in 2018.

Are there any BP meet ups in Jacksonville or other REIA meetings. If so please let me know. I am going to be in the Jacksonville area next week for a week and would like to meet up with some other investors if any one is free.

There is a Jax REIA. Also a Mastermind meetup (REIM) that you can google or find on meetup.com. Also, somebody recently organized a BP commercial meetup for the evening of Feb 16...I believe the location is still TBD.
