The Potential for War

Does anyone have enough experience in Real Estate investing to know the potential impacts of war on the market? Being Active Duty I know that we are aggressively increasing our troops which is a high indicator of “plans for war”.

Although I will be out of the military within the next 18 months I am sure this is when things will start to get rocky. How do you think this will impact the real estate investing market?

consider that we have been at War since 9/11 so you can see what the effect has been not much it depends on where the war is the economy was not bad during Vietnam or any other altercations since then if you want to see what happens to an economy in a large scale War then look to World War II. The troop build-up can also follow political ambitions and reasons there are times to rattle the saber but then again the way things look I wouldn't doubt if another fire starts. Investing For You might be a little more difficult but the properties should remain relatively even as they are after all the wealthy get wealthier during war
