Removing linoleum flooring?
In the above house, the kitchen had linoleum. The top scraped off and left the paper and glue. I tried wetting it but it doesn't seem to come up other than an inch at a time. The dining area had carpet. Once removed, I found linoleum underneath that looked as old as the house ( No. 3 is the yellow, original flooring.) The top come shell comes off easily and leave the base of the linoleum that is shown as no.2 and is white. IS THERE AN EASIER WAY TO REMOVE THIS? An acid product, and mechanical scraper, etc? How do you remove this or is it one inch at a time? Any info appreciated....

Go over top of it instead. There shouldn't really be a need to remove it if it's proving to be difficult and will just be time wasted.
